Over the past several months, the City of Napa has been working on an update to our Self Evaluation and Transition Plan as required by the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA).  Throughout this process, we have sought input and feedback from the community to get perspective on how to best serve the needs of people with disabilities who use City facilities, programs, and services.

On June 4, 2008, we held a focus group meeting at City Hall to discuss the draft version of our updated plan and the results of a community survey we administered on accessibility.  The information and feedback from this focus group meeting and community survey have been incorporated into an updated draft version of the Self Evaluation and Transition Plan

We are providing the community another opportunity to review the draft and provide comment before we finalize the report for presentation to the City Council.  We ask that any comments regarding the draft plan be submitted to Chris Shoop, Management Analyst, by emailing This email address is being protected from spambots. Comments must be received no later than July 11, 2008.  Also note that the community survey on accessibility will remain available for response here through July 11, 2008.
