The City of Napa has released the Initial Study-Mitigated Negative Declaration for the proposed Ritz-Carlton Napa Valley project. Public review copies of the report are available at the counter of the Planning Division in the Community Services Building at 1600 First Street. The report is also available for purchase at that location. Visit the project page to download the report. Comments on the report will be accepted through June 19, 2008.
A design workshop on the proposed 351-room hotel was held at 7pm on June 5 in the City Council Chambers at 955 School Street. On June 19, the Planning Commission will take up project consideration and review environmental impacts. Following the Planning Commission's consideration, the project is tentatively scheduled to come before the City Council on July 15, 2008.
