Important Notice Regarding the 2016 CBC and CFC
If you are an architect, engineer, designer, or contractor that performs work within the state of California, please be advised that a new set of construction codes took effect on January 1, 2017.
The 2016 California Building Code (CBC) and the California Fire Code (CFC) are currently available for review HERE.
All designers and contractors are encouraged to participate in code training classes. Training classes are available through the following organizations:
