The City of Napa Public Works Department will hold a community outreach meeting for the Linda Vista Bridge Over Napa Creek Project on Thursday, November 13, 2014 at 6:00 p.m. in Council Chambers at City Hall, 955 School Street. As directed by the City Council at last year’s budget hearings, the Public Works Department has completed property surveys and an alignment study to determine the feasibility of constructing a street connection between Robinson Lane and the Lone Oak Avenue/Linda Vista Avenue intersection. The purpose of this outreach meeting is to present the results of the alignment study, explain the next steps in the process and answer related questions. This meeting will provide the community with a preview of the material that will be presented in a report to the City Council at an upcoming public hearing.

This street connection is identified in the Transportation Element of the City’s General Plan and is intended to provide improved vehicle, pedestrian and bicycle traffic circulation between the Browns Valley area and areas north of Napa Creek. The alignment study is the first step in a multi-step process intended to analyze the impacts associated with the project and provide the City Council with information necessary to assist in their decision making process.

All interested parties are encouraged to attend. If you have any questions or comments, please contact Ernie Cabral, Associate Civil Engineer, at the City of Napa Public Works Department, (707) 257-9386, This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it..
